So here we are, fifty chapters written about the lives of the people living in and around Milliwick, which hopefully you have read and enjoyed, and now we are about to launch into the fifty-first chapter! So, time for some small changes which I hope will not detract from your reading pleasure too much.
To give me more opportunity to expand the stories and bring in more of the character's thoughts and feelings, as well as being able to explore some background that may or may not have been known about them, I have moved away from the script-like scenes and into something more like you may read in a book.
This is a chance for me to start again. Not with the story, that will pick up exactly where we left it last time, but to get rid of a few niggles with the site which would have been a mammoth task to try and do when the pages (all 596 of them) had to be changed individually if I wanted to make any changes at all.
We have a simpler chapter page with a font that is easy to read, an updated Village Map (Thanks for the nudge go to Viv, one of Milliwick's most avid readers.) and a new Who's Who which will grow as subsequent chapters are written.
The previous fifty chapters have not been changed in any way at all and I have added a link from the first page of chapter fifty-one to chapter fifty in case anyone wants to go back to look over anything they may have missed or if any new readers would like to go right back to the beginning to see how this saga first started. But, that said, this is an excellent place for new readers to start, so spread the word!
As with the original building of the site, I am certain that there will be things I have overlooked or perhaps could have been done in a better way. Please let me know if this is the case and I will do what I can to put things right.
